7pm-8pm UFO Club If you’re a quilter, you’re probably familiar with the term “UFOs,” which is an UnFinished Object that is a quilt project that you’ve started but never finished. UFOs can be found in many areas of quilting, from piercing to quilting to binding. If you are someone who can start and finish a project before starting another one – congratulations!  Some of us see the next new pattern and want to start it right away, leaving the old project behind.

We all have them, projects we started and just got sidetracked. Let's get them done!! The Area 51 UFO Club will meet monthly on the 3rd Monday from 7pm to 8 pm EST during Sew Happy Hour (SHH). Please use the SHH Zoom link and join us as we all finish those pesky UFOs!  Registration is required. Click the link below to register. Be sure to complete the form when you register and use the UFO Tracker to keep and log your progress. Each month we’ll focus on at least one UFO and get it done; cross it off that list. What qualifies as a UFO? Any quilt project that you have started but remain unfinished as of December 31, 2024. 

We will start our first UFO Club on February 17, 2025. We will have lots of fun, prizes, tips, show and share, and did I say PRIZES! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners! Let’s take on this task with a “Get it Done” mindset. We all are winners because we have the encouragement of each other to get our UFOs done so we can move on to our next great quilt project on our list!
