  • Annapolis Quilt Guild Annual Quilt Show Friday June 13- Saturday June 14 at the Riva Trace Baptist Church.

  • Uhuru Members Candace and Genevieve will have a mother-daughter art exhibit at the Blackrock Center for the Arts. The “Together” exhibit is up all Summer from June 14-August 23. Closing reception & Artist Talk is also August 23 in the Kay Gallery at Black Rock Center for the Arts.

  • In Praise of the Ancestors 18th Annual African American Art Exhibition is currently being exhibited at the North Charleston City Hall in South Carolina through June 15. Uhuru members Camilla, Cookie, Katherine, and NiYa have art in this exhibit.

  • We Gather at the Edge:Contemporary Quilts by Black Women Artists at the Smithsonian Renwick Gallery closes June 22, 2025.

  • Road2Va ~ We are hosting a bus trip on June 28. If you would like to go with us register here.

  • Celebrating Black Mermaids: From Africa to America is currently at the Sebrof Forbes Cultural Center. Uhuru members Angela, Cookie, NiYa and Renee have quilts in the exhibit.
