Spring 2025 Quilting field trips

If you need something quilt related to do here are some awesome opportunities to see quilts and quilt related happenings in the DMV.

• Tribute to the Queen of Rock and Roll Tina Turner @ Montpelier Mansion. Please visit the website for open hours now through April 28.

• We gather at the edge: Contemporary Quilts by Black Women Artists at the Smithsonian Renwick Gallery. This exhibit runs through June 22. Please visit the website to find opening hours.

• MARYLAND QUILTS 2025

  It is time for the twenty-second exhibition of Maryland Quilts Exhibit shown at the Greenbelt Federal Courthouse through the end of April 2025.

  This collection of quilts features the work of Maryland quilt makers, including four Uhuru members, whose work demonstrates a wide range of styles and techniques that illustrate the versatility of the quilt artists and the capabilities of the medium.

  The Courthouse is open Monday through Friday, 9 AM- 3PM
